Installation Guide of Quartz Stone

Advantages of artificial quartz stone is its durability, weight and easy installation, however, do you known how to it? If no, the following installation guide would be helpful.

1) Before application lays on the floor and create a pattern. Mix stones from different boxes, stones are handmade, shades may slightly vary. 
2) Start application from the bottom line. If you use corner elements start with them, alternate long and short legs of corner pieces in opposite directions. Vertical!
3) Cover back of the stone with glue, not more than 6mm thick. Press firmly to the surface to ensure good bond. Make sure that a little mortar squeezes to the sides of the stone, to ensure good lateral bond.
4) Some stone pieces may need to be cut and shaped to fit the gaps. Cut stone pieces with circular saw, or nippers. For completion cover with mortar any cut or broken edges.
5) If you use stone which requires joint grouting, follows the recommendations of grout manufacturer to prepare it. Grout joints with mortar using a grout bag. After about 30-60 minutes when mortar has become brittle, mortar smears should be removed using a dry stiff brush or whiskbroom.
6) Use good quality elastic tile glue, when needed glue should be resistant or heat or cold.
7) Places where stone is applied should be protected from rain until glue is fully dried.
8) Stone should not be installed when rains and weather temperature is less than +5 C
